Quick synopsis: Amberground is an hostile place with few natural lights and giant insects roaming. There is postmen called Letter Bees, which travel these dangerous maps in order to deliver importants letters . One day, Gauche, a Letter Bee, saves a young child left for dead in the barrens. Years passes and the young hero, Lag, decides to become a Letter Bee as well in order to help people. His first quest will be to collect an artifact on Sindria's island, a rare stone desired by not-so-good-intentioned people.

Testing original animation with 3ds max and AE helped me to add a lot of variety in the AMV. I encountered a lot of problems and errors which helped me understand the logs better, so i'm sure the artistic feel will look a ton better in the next AMVs.
-What went bad:
The FT villain. i was forced to change the villain since the real boss from LB was cancerously anticharismatic and static. The villain from FT movie felt a lot more dangerous and powerful, but i wasn't able to make him appear sooner in the story, which would have been better.
Lights/Textures in 3dsmax sequences. Modeling and animating wasn't the big problem (i wanted to make it feel like Game of Thrones opening), yet the textures took an enormous amount of RAm because i didn't new how to optimize them. AS consequence, i wasn't able to make all the light adjustments than i wanted to do on my PC. It suffered a lot during rendering.
Vegas Alzheimer. Near the end, i notices vegas just "lost" sequences/scenes of the AMV that i wasn't working on/touched. It forced me to render it in parts and keep it the way it was, since more loss would have compromised the AMV itself. Then, i wasn't able to correct some elements in the amv, like the "manor" sequence i wanted to make more explicit.
One thing's sure, the next big amv i'll do won't make pompous complicated story twists or static main anime. Next one, i'll plan to use a more dynamic one.
Anyway, what's done is done. Feel free to say what you disliked and liked.

The video is really good, it's a quality AMV no doubt, I liked how each scene you selected. Each of the scenes were very well positioned.
Glad you could implement things that were tested in 3ds max and AE, in reality these effects were very good, gave the video very good visual appearance.
Too bad you could not integrate the "real villain" I really agree with you.

Nice work!! I enjoyed it a lot, one of my favs of this akross con. Btw the name of the anime (the main anime) is Letter bee?? Seems pretty interesting =)

Puff pretty good but there are some things that I did not like it.Well let me start in order.
0:13 I really did not like this transition maybe for the different colors between those scenes and also that the animation like, it did not match pretty good at the end, I mean when the robot scenes appear at the end of that transition the other movement had not finished yet while the next movement had already finished it looks a little weird.
0:18,2:09 the eye transition I think that it was a little bit rough.
For me this mask is flat 0:27 also the camera movement was weird and fast.
I really did not like this effect 0:58-1:00 and the boys when they are coming in to the house they are so fast.
Some people talking without lip sync like 1:20, 2:26.
I did not like this effect again here 1:32, but I think that it was the way that you used it in order to match the color with the next scene I think that it was good. Nevertheless the next 3D scene was too linear, the hills had too much feather on their edge and the hills of the left side without it and they were too flat on the left. Also At the end of the 3D the camera was a little bit weird it looks like you stopped it and suddenly you restart the movement again.
Some images without proportion such as 1:49, 2:51.
2:38 – 2:44 you lost the sync just a little.
In general the video is good but I feel like it needs a better color correction in some parts and there are some random parts also some part so fast to the music I feel like is the music is slow and you edition was too fast to the music. However I fan of the video with story like this I really liked it except for the music
Anyway PBE this video has the power to be in finalist good luck in the final bro.
